      Matthew J. Silverstein is a commercial litigator who brings strong analytical instincts to the cases he handles. Matthew has extensive experience working in the accounting industry and has worked on a broad spectrum of legal matters, including, financial litigation, oil and gas litigation, legal malpractice claims, and domestic and international tax planning.

      As a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Matthew has significant experience working with litigation teams on matters of valuation, compliance, and fraud detection.

      Prior to joining Graff Silverstein LLP, Matthew worked at a national law firm and a regional law firm in the business litigation groups at these respective firms.

      Matthew also has worked for a major accounting firm as well as boutique tax shops, where he provided tax planning and compliance services for high-net worth individuals, families, trusts, and entities. He has received both a J.D. and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the New York Law School.
